FAQs

One of the unique selling points of UnBrandedVideo, is our speed of deployment. Our main production unit, takes less than 30 minutes to assemble and power-up. It is then only a matter of connecting each source, be that a fixed or mobile camera.

With every decision comes a budget.

Yes, you can have your wedding or other event in a secluded location as long as you are aware that there are additional technical challenges to getting a data connection, we have strong connections with companies who specialise in remote access data.

This is alway a risk, even for the largest of broadcasting organisations.

Nobody can tell you that any form of broadcasting is 100% guaranteed, simply because there will always be more than one company handling the process from filming location to the viewers.

We advise that every event is recorded locally so that should the worst happen, you have a copy of the event that can be uploaded afterwards.

A remote contributor is someone who isn’t in the studio or venue where the main event is happening.

A classic example of this is a roving news reporter.

With the development of on-line meeting services, everyone can be a remote contributor by using their phone or computer.

You might want someone to address your in-room audience on a large screen and take questions or you might want a house bound relative to read a passage at your wedding, these are all remote contributors and can be incorporated fairly easily.

There was a “royal variety show” where the first two rows of the audience were all remote contributors, with a video screen positioned in each seat. This is an extreme example of how remote contributors can be part of an event.

Corporate videos used to be pre-recorded and played back during an event.

With the modern internet is it now possible for a corporate audience to be addressed directly via a video link.

If your event moves from one venue to another, with a carefully planned setup it is possible to follow the action and keep the stream continuous.

Alternatively you can have a live streaming team in each location and a central team mixing between the venues and creating a seamless live stream.

It is even possible to create a video link between venues for presenters to professionally hand off to each other.

Your special day can be shared to anyone around the world, like everything else it just requires some careful planning.

You can choose to share as much or as little as you wish.

We can just broadcast the service or we can follow key members of the wedding party and weave them into a live stream, leading up to the main service, then follow your party to the reception.

Just like any other important event, a funeral is something to share with others.

For those that can’t physically attend or to create a memory of the coming together of a community to pay respect.

  • Video messages can be played out to the in-house and live stream audience
  • A final message can be played
  • Friends and relations around the world can come together again
  • Video chat stations can close the distance and help everyone to connect

Everyone has a right to protect their creativity and to be paid for their work, this is taken very seriously by live streaming platforms like YouTube and FaceBook, who are within their rights to close a live stream if their computer detects protected content.

No amount of “sending them written proof” will prevent this.

Which means that content for a live stream has to be very carefully considered if using these platforms.

However, there are other streaming platforms that can tolerate protected content under certain circumstances.

During the planning stages, we will do our best to ensure that your stream is uninterrupted by an AI decision by choosing a streaming platform that is accessible to all your audience.

This is probably one of the hardest challenges, not because of the cameras and mixing, but rather sending the data to the internet.

If your event is mobile, we will need to very carefully plan the route and ensure that there is a good internet connection throughout.

All the streaming platforms offer different ways to list and present streams.

We can send your stream to your profile on a service, where you can have total ownership of it, to share publicly or to restrict it to a predetermined audience or you can use one of our profiles and share the event from there.

Whatever you choose, we respect your privacy and will follow your guidance for video availability and removal from servers etc.

Streaming your event to a service that includes a “paywall” is the easiest way to ensure your stream is only viewed by ticket holders or invited guests.

Longer term, you may wish to make your stream public for anyone to view and authorise the use of adverts.

There are many ways to bring contributors into a broadcast, some are limited to a small group while others offer huge amounts.

The hard part is managing the contributors and ensuring they are all ready to go at their allotted times.

Our production team will manage all of this for you.

To be completely inclusive, many events choose to have language interpreters, these might be oral and presented as a dub to the normal audio, others might offer different languages as options, while visual interpreters can be presented as a video insert into the picture.

We can accommodate all kinds of requirements, from simultaneous interpretation booths and multi streams just as easily as inserting a 1:1 Live or Zoom meeting BSL interpreter.

This is possible on most streaming platforms, it is just a matter of choosing the correct options when setting up the event.

You can even choose to disable a live rewind option, so that people can only view live.
